Exactly! If I am questioning if I am in peri… I’m in peri. I was waking up sweating at night, looking in the mirror and didn’t recognize myself. And rage.. my PCP was like. Oh it’s your anxiety, here’s some meds 🤦♀️

I have PCOS and started experiencing night sweats, hot flashes, heat intolerance, joint pain, phantom smells, itching at night, rage, really bad anxiety, dryness in the nooks & crannies, extreme fatigue, and brain fog starting around age 33 until around 39/40. I’ll be 42 in November and am now on progesterone, estrogen, and testosterone.

Idk what it is anymore😭 idk if I feel this way because I’m an exhausted mom of 4, 2 teenagers & 2 toddlers🙃 or is the perimenopause, or I’m stressed out because I’m a stay at home mom and want to go to work like I used to but don’t want to leave my little ones with anyone because I don’t trust anyone 😭 I’m literally going crazy 😔😣 and I have tried to talk to my obgyn and every time I bring this conversation up he just goes “you are too young you are fine” I’m 35🥲 I’m always in a bad mood 🥺 I just want to feel normal again💔

This is probably a dumb question but I have similar symptoms but I’m 31 years old with Pcos and on progesterone ocp. I’ve never had regular cycles. Is it normal for me to have similar symptoms to peri menopause…. Just confusing to know the difference for me.

I don’t know if I’ll actually know until the day my periods stop? My allergies, sensitive skin, generalized anxiety disorder, and ADHD account for all the symptoms people keep saying are signs of perimenopause.

but this is confusing to me. My GYN said i'm full blown menopause because i haven't had my menstrual for two years. YET I don't have any symptoms NONE. not that i want them. 🤷🏻♀️

I have itchy ears, thick hair on my chinny chin chin and sometimes around my nipples, cry all the time very emotional, irregular periods and they're heavy af, angry for no reason, body aches. Doctor says I'm not though. it's exhausting continuing to show proof. I don't understand them, they know it's real. why do I have to work so hard for them to believe me??

Started having constant hot flashes and heavy periods at 33. Followed by low libido and random anxiety. The symptom I knew without a doubt that it was perimenopause... labia minora shrinkage! 🫣

I tried talking to my doctor a bunch of times and he literally laughed and said oh god no you’re way too to young. I was 43. Now four years later and I’m in the weeds and have been waiting for gynaecologists for over 2 years and now need a full hysterectomy from Deep infiltrating endo and advanced adenomyosis. Will likely need bowel and bladder resection now too. It would be awesome if we weren’t treated like morons and actually got the help we need when asked for it. So many things could be prevented and or managed gracefully. Rant over lol 🥰

At 40 started getting stuffy nose week before my period EVERY month thought I suddenly had allergies. ( histamine) . Week before my period EVERY month randomly started having seriously painful joints . Sjorgens like symptoms every month for once a week . Suddenly never before in my life I now have IBS. Guess what …. Week leading up to my period. SUDDENLY every month my ovulation became so painful I couldn’t walk . Internal ultrasound showed nothing, CT Scan Showed normal female organs . Hormone levels doc says are “fine” and for all these problems I was offered SSRI and told it’s in my head and I need to calm my anxiety. and these are only a few of my symptoms the past 2 years …..periods coming a week early every month now on the clock ….

I went through menopause at 45. The only symptoms I had of perimenopause was some unexplained headaches other than that I knew nothing was going on. I’m 47 now and the hot flashes are the worst thing😳🥵🥵🥵

my doctor said im in perimenopause at 39 because i have irregular prolonged bleeding. my labs are normal but she still says the bleeding is a sign of perimenopause

My younger sister (2years difference ) is in perimenopause and my best friend. They insist I must be and I’m in denial. I’d actually love to be!! My periods are heavier, but was diagnosed with fibroids and I have itchy ears. That’s it. Can I be in perimenopause and not know it? Or is my dr right and I’m just not there yet?
