The fact that many people forget that before becoming her crush, Kyouske was Sayaka's childhood friend, is a big deal. She didn't want to save him so she could be with him; she wanted him to be happy again. She knew she had a carefree life, so she gave her wish to someone she cared about and knew needed it.

It also pisses me off that people say her wish was stupid because she shouldn’t waste her wish on a boy… why does it matter who we love. It doesn’t even matter if it was romantic or not. Love is love yall it doesn’t matter the kind of love, she’s kind at heart and that’s the point.

ppl call her a bird but her wish was literally to heal kysosuke, the only reason it backfired in the way it did was because she also liked him, and you can say she had an ulterior motive but its more likely it’s just apart of each wish to have a hidden downside which is almost proven by kyoko and homura having both of their wishes end with them unhappy, DONT DIS MY GIRL SAYAKA!!
