Yup shell jacking 🐚🔫 when hermit crabs don’t have enough resources for comfortably share, they can get territorial and feel need to compete for resources, such as shells. This can lead to shell jacking. Make sure to provide your hermit crabs with plentyyyy of shells! I like to keep a shell shop of a ton. Aim to have 5 shells of appropriate size per hermit crab, with some sizes they can also grow into as they get bigger!
