I've recently hired a dogsitter. she said she a rotating housesitter for island co, with 9 families. she's not as much interested in full daily rate, as she is using their house to get a break from the camper. genius idea and makes about $40/day.

Do your dad & Stepmother stay in the area (on the boat) in winter? It seems like you're close with them, (& to them- geographically). I live just outside Boston & have known (most) who relocate. But also a few who stay- although it's a pita.

We lived at the Hilton Feb & March. 😂 It was definitely to cold in our vehicles. A van would be awesome!
