in all seriousness.. Freddy was too weak to actually pull him over, and even if she kept trying buddy would have pierced them both and not just Wade, not to mention the fact that wade was injured and bleeding (if I'm correct) so he would have only slowed them down and held them back which would lead to everyone's downfall or at least his own death either by bleeding out or just eventually running out of energy adrenaline can only do you so much not to mention oliver was holding the mail box NOT Freddy so dont go saying "saving the mail box instead of a kid is crazy" because Freddy uses that mail box as a weapon against buddy later if I'm correct so... and it was partially Wade's fault be there were THREE trash cans. yet he jumped up being an idiot thinking Freddy or someone could pull him up..there were TWO trash cans he could have jumped on. not to mention he literally saw Freddy accidentally knock that one down so why didn't he just use a different one? in reality it was Wade's fault for being dumb and not using another trash can, not to mention expecting someone to grab him which mind you they couldn't do bc he's just as heavy as them tf?

Yall it’s nobody’s fault, Freddy’s too small to pull him up and she got scared, Wade was the most stressed and scared there so obviously he didn’t think to go closer to the monster and grab a trash can, the other kids nearly escaped death, and overall the children are about to die, why are we blaming children, and in the end his death wasn’t even because of any of those reasons it was for plot development

Why are some people blaming literal children running on fear, confusion, and adrenaline instead of Buddy who put them in this situation in the first place? They probably do not have the physical fitness to haul kids their sizes off fences, they were also sheltered, groomed, and manipulated into trusting this one adult whose real colors turned their world upside down. They obviously aren't serial killer-evading geniuses. They're just scared kids who did the best they could in the situation they're in.
