Thank you for talking about this. Especially as a Black survivor. I got doxxed, bullied, and even accused of not being a real person. If I was a skinny yt woman with blue eyes, they would have been foaming at the mouth to get me a Netflix documentary.

I’ve been telling ppl FOREVER. It’s not because they genuinely believe that they wouldn’t do those things because “they’ve always been nice to addressed person” or that they thought you were actually “crazy and hysterical”. It’s weaponised incompetence!!!!! It’s removing themselves from having to actually do something about it

I blamed myself because after 3 workplace arrangements, and 2 separate employers, the job crashed and burned every. fucking. time. clearly, if I'm the one always fighting admin, im the problem. then I realized that this incredibly niche field, with all jobs in the exact same town, systematically grinds employees down until we have nothing left to give, and eventually lash out and shut down after years of unsafe working conditions. I wasn't the only one, and I won't be the last. (not to mention the years of work experience I had before that where shit didn't hit the fan. remembering that all also gave me some perspective).
