An idea….You could also switch it up and instead of packing his lunch everyday (of course still do this some) but you could buy him a little tray like in lunch rooms, and make him lunch and play as the lunch lady and have him pretend he’s walking through the lunch line and serve him lunch. Could be a little fun switch up once and awhile

My favourite teacher ever was my year 8 English teacher she is literally an angel and she helped me more than I think she’ll ever know , I had to leave to school and was home schooled after because of my mental health but she was the best teacher and friend iv ever had xx

Congrats on homeschooling! It is so rewarding and I wish you the best. I homeschool my daughter. She’s never been to public school… we just started 2nd grade 💕 we’ve gotten a lot of criticism over this choice, people always said “what about socialization” but honestly she’s socialized just fine. Shes goes everywhere we do and interacts with people of all ages. My advice is just ignore the haters… don’t let them make you second guess your decision you know your little boy the best, so do what’s best for your little boy and your family. 🫶

When I was in 3rd grade my teacher had a cat iron tub full of toys and stuffed animals in her class when it was a kids birthday we got to sit in it all day playing and reading like a free day

Love this! Pro-tip from a veteran hs mom, don’t recreate school at home. It’s SO much more fun to do it differently! One of the best things about hs is the freedom!
