@thescarecast: This unexpected verdict resulted in an upset father hurling a chair at a judge... In 2013, a driver lost control of his vehicle near Meijel in the Netherlands and struck a family on a cycle path, ending the lives of a couple and their grandchild. A lower court initially ruled there was insufficient proof that speeding caused the crash and sentenced the driver to 120 hours of community service for dangerous driving. The child’s father reacted in court by throwing a chair toward the judge. Prosecutors appealed, and in September 2015 an appeals court found that speeding had caused the fatal crash. The driver was sentenced to 15 months in prison and banned from driving for four years. Do you think that sentence reflected the loss of three lives? #truecrime #truecrimestory #crime #truestories #justice
