This whole situation is weird. I say one video and thought the lasy was overdoing it, but then i saw she’s made multiple videos cuz ppl keep trying to correct her. One video has the baby’s hair in kind of a defined afro. I feel like in any other situation would, ppl would be clawing to say it’s not 4c at all

When we used to say Afro textured hair and even tight coils it was so much better, we’re too invested in the label, she’s taking care of her daughters and it’s nice to see.

My issue is people always say there’s no 4c representation yet the people with 4c but claim it as something else. The label don’t have stick but people need to stop complaining there’s no representation when there is, it’s just misinformation in the media

It's texturism, they live in wigs, sew ins, extensions and they see any lil black girl or woman that has texture to it because they don't they automatically see it as 4c and the way they say with such conviction. It sounds like you with your thick textured hair think your hair is 3c/4a?! Yea no your hair is 4c
