My husband is amazing, but in many ways marriage is a bet for a woman. There are so many things you just can't know when you marry someone. One of my friends got pregnant because her husband kept day dreaming about being a father and how great it was going to be and then when their daughter was born .... he just poof!

As a therapist - yesssss to this! We blame women for not being more hyper vigilant in who they “picked” and it is just a continuation of not demanding men to be more mature etc. I literally can’t stand this trend lmao. It puts women down and makes them even ASHAMED to talk about what’s going on in their marriages or learn how to advocate for change.
