Your hair is gorgeous and I love your content. Just want to mention the role of the conditioner. Water has a higher pH than the hair, so the hair cuticles open up when we use water. Shampoo is the same, but it adds to the hair whatever it is for (like a nourishing shampoo or keratin shampoo etc). The conditioner has a low pH and thus closing the hair cuticle, locking in whatever the shampoo added. Obviously everyone does whatever they feel like and I am not trying to offend here. But this is why conditioner is good.

gurl, you have short hair. conditioner isn't supposed to be put where you have hair because your hair is barely longer than your scalp. for me, I have my hair until my butt and I use conditioner and put it until the nape of my neck. hope this helps

when my hair was short, I didn't condition and it was fine. once it started growing and getting long again, I started needing it on the ends or they were dry and nasty. idk if it's due to the oil traveling to the ends better when it's short or what, but I've noticed the longer my hair gets the more I need conditioner.

this usually only goes for straight and wavy haired people btwww curly and kinky haired people usually cannot go without conditioner because without it our hair will go tangled and get dry and knotted ❤️

Definitely a hair type thing, and that’s totally fine. Marketing has convinced everyone they need stuff they don’t. I definitely need it bc of my hair type, but if you don’t that’s great, less expense and plastic which is only a good thing

If I didn’t use conditioner, I would be able to get a comb through all the knots. In fact, I use a light weight detangler as well.

You have low porosity hair. South Asian hair is thick but our hair gets weighed down by excessive conditioning. I’ve also skipped conditioner as well on uncoloured hair and it’s fine
