"Keep possession of your game disc" Meaning if you sell the game sometime, either a couple weeks or months, they're going to require you to verify that you still have the game on disc, and if you don't, you lose access. so eh

BTW, Xbox discs have a serial number. So you can't insert it, claim the copy and then sell the disc because the digital copy is tied that serial number. If someone else claims the digital copy from that exact disc then you lose the license.

This makes me want to get a Series X. I love my PS5 but this is a great feature. If Sony continues on their anti-disc campaign, I’ll be getting the new Xbox rather than PlayStation which I’ve never done before

Just curious, would this theoretically allow someone to buy a game claim the virtual game and then return the physical copy back to the store? Then they would get the money back from the physical game and have the virtual game. Is there safe guards for this?
