It’s not about the status a guy has, it’s how he makes you feel. My ex-boyfriend actually had more money than me and my parents and we’re like proper rich, but he was like millionaire rich but that’s not really uncommon because pretty much all of my friends grew up in wealthy backgrounds like me so pretty much everyone around us is super wealthy, anyways we ended up breaking up no specific reason I just didn’t really feel any spark between us, even though he would always take me out on dates and buy me the most expensive stuff. It always felt like he was trying to flex the fact that he had money to impress me like he thought that it’s something that was gonna like, make the relationship better in a way. But the truth is that I really didn’t give a **** about that. We’re still friends now though we just both knew that clearly it was not like a relationship that was very passionate and I’m someone who really wants to feel like I’m fully in love with the person I’m with. Then I met my boyfriend three months later and now I’ve been together for three years. He came from a really poor family. He was the first person I knew that wasn’t as wealthy as me and my friends. He’s actually the one who made me realize that in the real world if you don’t come from rich parents, and you’re not like a brat things are different. But he’s just so smart and sweet and he adopted so well to my lifestyle even though in the beginning he was uncomfortable because we were always playing golf during the summer and he was really bad in the beginning lollll and we had to buy him a suit because he didn’t have anything when we would go out to like formal events, anyways point is that he made me realize that I was just beyond lucky because all my life I grew up with wealth around me so I thought that that was like the normal lifestyle for everyone and then he told me that his lifestyle was actually not poor. I was just like the basic average lifestyle of anyone in the world and I was kind of shook because I was like wait you don’t have an elevator in your room. You don’t have a private chef like stuff like that and he was like no no one really has that.. anyways it’s just that me and my friends
