Just dumped 2.5k into my car to make it reliable and now it needs some sort of transmission work bc it’s shifting erratically and hard so hard in fact the car has gone through 2 brand new cv axles since removing the original cv axle.

while you’re down there you can also do engine mounts trans mounts suspension bushings etc if you want to feel true pain

Follow the tutorial by BAVHAUSTV on YouTube to replace rod bearings. The most comprehensive video out there explaining the process. I followed it step by step, used King STD bearings, 6000 miles ago, zero issues.

I did rod bearings too while doing oil pan gasket, good decision because quite a bit of shavings in the pan. Saved my engine doing it sooner than later.
