I cried so hard when he passed, then my mom got diagnosed with the same cancer. We as a family told no one, when she passed everyone was shocked saying how much she was helping them not knowing she was sick. ❤️Sending love to those battling any inner war silently.

Apparently he never told any of his co-stars or anyone at Marvel, only an extremely small circle of family members, a business partner, his agent, and the director of 42 knew about his illness. He was very, very private about it.
