@itsjenodell: but I do like convenience and feeling prepared. Surgery made me light-headed on an empty stomach, so my pockets had to be full of snacks! Lunch breaks were never guaranteed. Clerkship year means really long days and an unpredictable schedule. I needed a bag big enough to hold food for 12 hours, a change of clothes, and study material (you never know when you’d have half an hour of downtime!) my makeup routine basically disappeared but I didn’t wanna look like I just rolled out of bed - plus I’m a stickler for daily sunscreen. then when I wasn’t at the hospital, I needed to throw on something easy and comfortable to study in or wear for a walk, hence my favorite shorts and sneakers 🥰🥰 #medicalstudent #medicalschool #premed #medschoollife #medstudent
