If you are in debt review you are not allowed to enter into a new credit agreement. Same should apply with interest accumulation, it should not be charged because you are already in default.

But then if the high court goes with what the banks side, what’s to stop banks from giving people that don’t qualify for loans those loans in hope that you go into debt review so that they can make more money? I mean the reason why so many people go into debt review anyway is because they are granting loans to people who can’t afford them to begin with so if they don’t like people going into debt review they need to tighten up their policies on who to grant a loan to

The banks are definitely kicking you when you on the ground cos what do you mean!? I made the rearrangement when you had a job meaning it works for you when you still have a job, losing that job changes that and debt review doesn’t give you money now does it😭😭

Ive never heard such an argument...you wouldnt go to restructure your debt and go into debt review if you were not struggling financially so the induplum rule still stands because you restructure because you are struggling. So the rule stays. Banks are evil.

The Induplum rule should be enforced strongly to help people. It only the poor that suffers under the strong arm of the banks, etc. So government should fight for this rule not to fall away.
