thats definitely a myth, pregnant women arent just mean to their husbands for no reason. Its usually because they lack support and care from their partners, making their pregnancy much harder.

When my partner did shit to me in pregnancy. I was so weak. Than i could not fight him back. So i just wait until i give birth. I recover around 2 or 3 weeks. Then i took revenge. But he was so annoying and mean. It is hard when your partner is not helpful or supportive. So i was mad at him after give birth .

No one prepares you for...as if she doesn't have female friends, etc that can tell her side effects of pregnancy. morning sicks, swelling in the feet, etc. yes! every pregnancy is different but even I'm aware of these thing's. they might not talking about it much but it's a possibility in pregnancy. They are going to be good parents.
