Yeah… Hates it so much she’s bonding her kittens to you by intermingling all your smells together… smell mixing is literally how cats communicate who belongs in the family, it’s why sometimes cats don’t recognise the cat that just came home from the vet for a little while… but she totally hates it 🤦🏻♀️

People are so fainfully uneducated. If a cat trusts you, they EXPECT you to help with the babies. A lot of felines are solitary, but the species that later became our house cat was not one of those. They lived in colonies, where everyone helped with taking care of the young. Your cat will see you as part of the colony, and thus a free baby sitter.
