They could have easily added ONE rem and elation 4 star support to help with the god awful shill this game has. Making them 5 star exclusive while needing 3 to make the most of the end game buffs is tiring 💔

If you introduce a new class or element, you should give out a F2P option. It could be a free 5star for the patch but looking at zzz add three new elements and no F2P options you can’t do any endgame without having the new characters

I think we should at least have one 4 star for rem and elation, it just looks weird that they're the only paths in the game without a 4 star, plus it could be a helpful permanent unit for new players since free 5 stars are almost always limited time gifts (also even then 4 stars if they're good like march hunt or tingyun can be great side grades for a while, I used tingyun since starting my account until recently when I got more limited supports)

I start to play in 1.0 Natasha was a good healer then but even then I didn't even level her up after 20 and she is still 20😂😂 so no guys 4 star won't help

"Genshin doesn't have issues like that" tell me you haven't played genshin for 3 patch cycles without saying you haven't played genshin in 4 patch cycles. Stellar has the saving grace of 4 stars being able to fully do the gimmick, which means bosses that need to to be properly defeated are doable by F2P players who may lose 50/50. HSR hands you MC and tells you to get fucked. 4 stars will help the game, the main issue if anything is that it's a gacha

Unfortunately we do, because with the rise of mono path meta and heavy archetype shilling, we only have 1 free remembrance (if you’re not counting dhpt) and 1 free elation unit, which is the trailblazer. Trailblazer is thrown around so many teams and it would benefit a lot if we had at least one 4* elation or remembrance unit

I believe the 4 star problem was a self inflicted problem by hoyo they power crept the 5 stars so much they made 4 stars useless for real so adding them back in is pointless now and they need to stop this. is getting to the point where you need a full team with light cones and e1 e2 to beat the end game and is not just invest in one team and you are good no you need 3 now and those 3 are going to last maybe a year if you are lucky before the next bullshit mechanic

what a ridiculous take about 4stars. If everyone is a 5star then no one is.HSR is just incredibly stingy and wants you to pull every character through gacha.HSR would probably solve a lot of its issues if they released 4stars still that you could easily get and were useful in the meta like genshin still does. Instead what they do is have you pull for every single 5star character and then powercreep them in two versions.Its so weird how people try to justify the lack of 4stars as "oh they are useless we dont need them" yes you do! cause in genshin we have many 4 star characters that are in the meta and useful. Even new ones! its beneficial to have 4stars in meta for the f2ps. Hsr has just went in another level of greed compared to genshin.We were like at the past "genshin could never" and yet for more than a year we are in a state were "hsr could never"

I do think as a bare minimum there should be a 4 stars for both rem and elation to make both path more accessible—rem has definitely been more accessible over time but elation shill feels impossible to keep up with if you lost your 50/50s… I don’t think they’re needed, hell, HSR could probably go all 5-stars for a while, but I still think new paths should still have some 4 stars

I understand why they don't make anymore but I do think we still need 4 stars ESPECIALLY if they keep adding mechanics and Paths since remembrance and elation basically can only be played with premium there isn't a lot of F2p option in characters

I think we need at least 1 four star per gimmick tho, we have for DoT, break, crit, FuA, AoE, we need for bounce, elation and remembrance, atleast one 😭 like a worse yaoguang that still does something, a worse evernight for who didn't pull her etc

I think the biggest issue is just new mechanics, the ONLY reason why Elation and Rememberance (as a whole) was even SLIGHTLY f2p (especially when it first came out) was because of the trailblazer. But what the trailblazer does is essentially the role of a 4*: cheap/free and actually decent without being bis in most teams. We probably don’t need 4* as often as genshin but some very once in while to make new mechanics more playable would be nice

I feel like at the end of the day people just want a free accessible yet usable 4 star support that is still in line with the current meta. sure hoyo gives out free 5 stars but all of those are either old units that are literally useless or units that, while being good, have nothing to do with the current meta, with only 3 or 4 actually being useful, yet none of them are rememberance or elation adjacent. xueyi and gallagher were monumental during break, so why cant they give the same grace for remembrsnce and elation is the problem.

We may not need them but doesn't change the fact I want 4*s. It would just be nice to have some niche 4*s to fill in slots on teams. Like niche roles for support and sustain. For example I would had loved to run both my Sable team and Eva team today in Apoc but couldn't bc there was only one healer like Huohuo. Now yes this will be solved when Pearl's released but it would still be nice to have that option right now. Also I just want few NPC be playable...I'm huge fan of Mr Reca, Kuchiba, and Siobhan's designs and want them badly!!! I don't think they ever be 5* worthy tho so having them as 4 stars so I can have them on my account would make me so happy.
