Reminds me of the divorce lawyer in the movie Marriage Story, who says if you start from normal and they start from crazy, by the time you compromise you end up halfway to crazy. You can't start from centrist when you're dealing with far right fascists, we need candidates with actual leftist platforms and by the time the chips fall MAYBE we won't end up with fascist hellscape.
