A very capable high clearance 4x4 is required to drive to the upper trailhead. 🅿️ Relatively small roadside parking area at the lower trailhead and space for a few vehicles at the upper 4x4 trailhead. 🥾 7.5 miles RT, 1,906’ of elevation. 🥾 3 miles RT, 985’ of elevation with a very capable high clearance 4x4. 💧 The trail can be flooded by the creek in places, so be prepared. 🧗‍♂️ There’s some minimal scrambling just before the lake with loose rock. 🚗 If you drive the 4x4 trail make sure to stay on the designated trails and in parking areas and do not drive or park on the surrounding tundra. ⚠️ If you hike the 4x4 road section watch out for vehicles, and if you drive it pay attention and watch out for hikers. 🦮 Dogs on leash.
