That’s not true. Limits can be infinite. Lim x-> 1/x = plug it in => denominator 0 = valid.

denominator can be zero. As we know that limit means "towards" a certain value.. meaning it's not undefined as it's never reach its real value... ex: lim(x->0) for 1/|x|
