“Chance” es un préstamo del inglés que en varios países se usa de forma coloquial para decir “oportunidad” o “momento”; no es normativa según la RAE. “Chanciar” no es una forma estándar en español; lo común es decir “dar chance” o mejor aún usar “dar un momento” o “dar una oportunidad” en contextos más formales.

I’m 🇩🇴I use it all the time, but quite honestly it’s a cultural word 🇩🇴. Like loanwords from other languages. The word for “chance” in standard Spanish is “oportunidad” but if your speaking with any 🇩🇴 🇨🇺🇵🇷 we will understand because it is embedded in our Caribbean culture
