i write my girlfriend a love letter every time we go on a date (she lives 2 hours away, so it's not super often) because i want her to have something tangible when she needs reassurance, and it's so much easier to write out my feelings rather than say them. i think it's the purest form of love

i have an entire album dedicated to what started out as little notes i’d leave for her to wake up to in the morning over facetime. to gradually overtime turning into morning letters to basically help get her day started off on the right foot. telling her to be safe, make good decisions, reassuring her that i see her. i see the work she puts in, the breakdowns, putting on a strong face for her little girl, the universe trying to bring her down. all i try to do with these letters is let her know that she is loved, she is seen, she is heard, and that she is valued. a small contribution to her life that hopefully, goes a long way for her.
