@propagandapimp1: I underestimated this place. Galax, Virginia has that small-town charm you don’t fully appreciate until you slow down and start looking around. Rivers winding through the mountains. Lakes tucked into the landscape. Artists and makers creating incredible work by hand—blown glass, watercolors, pottery, metalwork and more. There’s a real community of craftsmanship here, surrounded by some pretty spectacular natural beauty. I came here thinking I knew what to expect from a small town in Southwest Virginia.
