im 13, i’ve had my period since i was 10, i have no idea how my cycle works i just know i have around a 5-7 day period and it usually starts around the 20th. i also have never fucking heard of progesterone.

My mother openly told me “this doesn’t mean you’re a woman yet. It just means your body is growing to prepare you for future possibilities”. She took me to the mall to buy new clothes, explained pads and tampons, and took care of me the first time I had cramps so bad I couldn’t walk.
