For whatever reason I didn’t think about a washing machine filter until I saw a video of yours on Facebook. I opened mine up a couple of days ago for the first time since we bought the washer a few years ago. Smelled like a sewer. I will definitely be cleaning out regularly from now on.

I just got a used Maytag Neptune washing machine probably from the year 2000. it's stinks so bad. no drain water filter anywhere. there is water in the drum that's not accessible. I think is a culprit. I've tried everything to get rid of the smell. do you think it would be possible to get a brand new drum?

I wouldn’t purchase a frontloader if i couldnt access the pump filter. My LG has it in the bottom left and post tub clean i clean it out! Never any issues.
