I keep replaying the ps1 version of yotd and when I try to play the remastered, my muscle memory works against me. the world's look amazing, I'm glad they kept the og music as an option, but the sound effects, characters, and controls are all just off enough that I feel like its a parallel universe kinda thing. it is similar but also so different.

I love the fact that we got the remasters. But.. It kind if ruined the feeling of the games cause of the voice and character design changes. It just didn't hit the same

this is a terrible take. I also loved the og, and now since they are remastered I can share them with my kids with current gen graphics. all the graphical updates are 10/10. these are what remaster should look like.
