I think they should offer this category of cabin as a higher tier of an ocean view. I think that would lower expectations of what a “balcony” is. Looking at it from that lense, I love it! Lol

This room was nice but I think I prefer a traditional balcony. The problem I had with this room was if you are sharing a room with someone else it can be very challenging. For instance, I couldn’t get up early and enjoy the balcony like I normally do, unless my daughter was ready to get up as well. It made a lot of noise letting the shade up and down and once it’s up all the sunlight comes in. You could close the partition but that really didn’t do much.

I love this infinite balcony. I have stayed in concierge and chose it fir my October cruise. I have the steward empty the fridge.

I sailed Celebrity (Beyond) for the first time in May. Was torn about the verandah b/c I love a balcony. Ended up loving the verandah. The extra space, the floor to ceiling view not obstructed by railings, & you can still enjoy ocean views from your cabin if there is inclement weather. Our cabin temp did not go up too much & cooled down quickly when we closed the window.
