Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Crispy Roasted Potatoes Ingredients 1. Beef Steak – 2 lb, cut into bite-sized pieces 2. Baby Potatoes – 1.5 lb, quartered 3. Olive Oil – 3 tbsp 4. Unsalted Butter – 4 tbsp 5. Garlic – 6 cloves, minced 6. Onion Powder – 1 tsp 7. Smoked Paprika – 1 tsp 8. Dried Thyme – 1 tsp 9. Dried Rosemary – 1 tsp 10. Salt – 1 tsp, or to taste 11. Black Pepper – 1 tsp 12. Worcestershire Sauce – 2 tbsp 13. Beef Broth – 1/2 cup 14. Fresh Parsley – 2 tbsp, chopped 15. Red Pepper Flakes – 1/4 tsp, optional Recipe 1. Wash the baby potatoes thoroughly and cut them into evenly sized quarters. Pat the steak pieces dry with paper towels to help them develop a beautiful brown crust during cooking. 2. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the potatoes in a large bowl and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, half the salt, half the black pepper, smoked paprika, dried rosemary, and dried thyme. 3. Toss the potatoes until every piece is evenly coated with the seasonings. Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet, cut sides facing down, to encourage golden, crispy edges. 4. Roast the potatoes for 30–40 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking, until they are golden brown outside and tender inside. 5. Season the steak pieces with the remaining salt and black pepper, onion powder, and a light sprinkle of smoked paprika. Toss well to distribute the seasoning evenly over the meat. 6. Heat the remaining olive oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak in batches, leaving space between the pieces, and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until nicely browned. Avoid overcrowding the pan. 7. Transfer the browned steak to a plate and reduce the heat to medium. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the same skillet, allowing the flavorful browned bits from the steak to remain in the pan. 8. Add the minced garlic and optional red pepper flakes. Cook for 30–60 seconds, stirring constantly, until fragrant without allowing the garlic to burn. 9. Pour in the Worcestershire sauce and beef broth. Stir thoroughly, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release the browned bits, and simmer for 3–5 minutes until the liquid reduces slightly. 10. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and stir until melted into a glossy garlic butter sauce. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if necessary. 11. Return the steak bites and any accumulated juices to the skillet. Toss everything gently in the sauce and cook for another 1–3 minutes, depending on your preferred doneness. For food safety, cook whole-cut beef steak to at least 145°F (63°C) and allow it to rest for 3 minutes. 12. Arrange the roasted potatoes on a large serving platter and spoon the garlic butter steak bites alongside them. Drizzle the remaining skillet sauce generously over the steak and potatoes. 13. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the finished dish for a fresh, colorful garnish. Serve immediately while the steak is juicy, the potatoes are crispy, and the garlic butter sauce is warm.
