The Bic pen is a Bic Biro I’m just going to assume you were asking someone under the age of 50 this question. But the main reason you’re getting the side eye is Biro the dude who invented the ballpoint pen and the reason it was called Biro has many designs and as long as you ask for a ballpoint pen,which is the standard “pen”, you will get a Biro pen. Mind you it might not look like a pen from the 80s like the one in your picture seeing how all of these pens are Biro pens aka ballpoint pens.
