Your sudden move was the reason for him probably stepping back and spilling the drinks. I remember my son did the similar thing at school just another student drop the bottle and lid broke as it feel on the ground. I was asked to buy new bottle. Now according to some people on here we do something wrong and we don’t apologise but instead insult people ? Yes in your case apology was enough and his reaction was too much. Especially laying about paying $400 and then trying to intimidate you with staring you down. I think you chose right way to act like normal person ❤️

You did the right thing 🙌🏼 if this was my husband he would have said to you “all good don’t worry I’ll go let the bar know and I’ll get them to replace it” there’s NO WAY in hell my man would speak to a woman like that. No one would have been uncomfortable. You responded in a really good way 👏
