My experience in getting fired was a bit different. I pushed out some software updates at AM instead of PM. Some executive got promoted to update his laptop in the middle of the day. No severance, no unemployment, and lost my healthcare insurance when both my daughter and I have preexisting healthcare conditions. So a bit different.
