I love NOVA so much, as a Peruvian I am so lucky how diverse this area is! Literally food from every country. I know this area is expensive af but I grew up here, it has a special place in my heart especially Woodbridge

I’m always gonna defend Nova omg, it’s the only good part of Virginia, sorry to the rest of VA😭ppl just wanna complain, I was very lucky to go through FCPS, I lived in the best part of it🙂↕️I did go away for college so maybe I just learned to appreciate my roots?? Only thing he was kinda right about is that people can’t drive but that’s not Virginia drivers, it’s Maryland!

I moved to nova from south texas and trust me, I loved texas. But the people here are so much nicer. Every time I go to the farmer’s markets or literally any place, people always say hi and tell me I have beautiful children and that I am blessed. I’ve never had an awkward interaction with strangers and I am 100% happier here.

NOVA has the most food options of any area in the US. I've traveled to basically every major US city and anytime I went somewhere known for their food I would think "actually NoVa still has them beat"!

The food in nova is better than DC high key lmfao. Also the people here are really nice! I met a guy waiting in line at a concert and now we hang out weekly lol everywhere I go I meet new people who are just excited to chat and hang out

People think they want typical southern food when they think of virginia but the majority is bomb af international cuisine esp the filipinos and vietnamese and also blue crabs and im in the southeast

Naw honestly my NOVA experience has not been the greatest since relocating. I prefer the Maryland side, DC, or going down to Richmond. NOVA is way too suburban. I'm used to being in a city of mostly Latino and Black people. And even though there are Latinos, no real presence for Mexicans, Dominicans, or Cubans, and definitely not enough Blsck representation. There's no real Mexican food anywhere, no beauty supply stores like we're used to. It's not terrible, but definitely not for everyone.
