You took the job. You stayed too long. You walked away. You took the risk. And now, because you lived it, you know something you didn’t know before. We’re so quick to label an experience a “mistake” simply because we wouldn’t make the same decision today. But maybe the reason you wouldn’t choose it today is because choosing it then taught you better. That relationship taught you boundaries. That job taught you your worth. That heartbreak taught you discernment. That failure taught you resilience. You didn’t necessarily choose wrong. You chose before you knew. And sometimes the only way to know… is to live through the lesson first.
