Hitchhiking tip that worked for me - look like a student if you can. University jacket if you have one. The less sketchy you look, the better your chances for rides

I once hitchhiked from Sudbury to Red Deer Alberta back in the early 80’s … sketchy at times, but the truckers were awesome! The last one dropped me off at the employment office in Red deer! Have fun!!!! I’d do it again if I was younger!!
