As a mom of three it’s not mothers that you need to be telling this to. The problem is our society is not set up for this. Mom’s lack the support and have to return to work.

I totally agree. When I studied scientific psychology I arrived to the same conclusions. The fashion of letting cry has to do with modern life: no time to hold a baby.

I always held my kid and stayed connected. They almost never cried. No sleepless nights or more than a minute or two of crying. It was actually the easiest time of parenting

I once read a article called “African babies don’t cry” they breastfed, baby wore and bed shared and I did exactly that with both my kids and it works to reduce crying, my babies were great in infancy, toddlers are a different category all together tho but they still didn’t cry as much 😅

I exclusively breastfed my baby for EVERYTHING FOR up to 8 months! I’m pregnant again so nursing makes me nauseous so she’s taking formula during the day now but I still nurse on demand at night because she cosleeps. I feel like people don’t understand but she literally does not cry for any other reason than in tired and maybe hungry. There’s no crying for no reason because if she cries I nurse her even if she nurses 5 minutes ago and she almost always accepts. You can’t over feed a breastfed baby! If they nurse it’s because that’s what they wanted to do!

I’m happy to say when my children cried they got the boob. I did everything “wrong” co slept, no schedules, on demand nursing, ect. It just felt like the right thing to do.
