I have seen this. The twins school is under enrolled this year. But wasn’t last. I’m going to some input sessions. We have a very robust PTA so I’m hoping that helps.

okay this the wrong verbiage to use. "school closures" they have already layed people off and will continue that trend in some form just a bit but its more of a school combining.

The same school board closing schools voted 5-2 for Dr Kimberlee Armstrong to get a bonus!! She makes $344,792 a year

oregon has no money! it has dried up with business that has moved out taking their tax money. we won't increase taxes with a vote so they have to close schools. no more federal money to burn through. it would be one thing if we needed money and had a great report card but we are dead last . we are failing our students and that never excites taxpayers.

Idk if I trust wweek ab closures. They kept saying the Lloyd center was closing for years and caused so many people to believe it was already shut down until it met its recent demise.

i'm gen Z and all my friends are childfree. even the ones who thought they wanted kids have reconsidered. why would I want to spend my life in misery and worry like that? having children is a liability
