Some of these comments are wild. For one, he reached out to you and asked if you’d be willing to come meet him to pick up your food. Two, not cancelling the order allows him to get paid. Three, the first thing you did is ask if he was ok. You did nothing wrong here. It was just an unfortunate situation he ended up in and you were both making the best of it.

internet logic is crazy so i order food from a restaurant 40 minutes away, the dasher gets into an accident 5 minutes from my house, calls me and says “hey, would you be able to meet me and get your food?” and somehow y’all think the better solution is to cancel the order, send another driver 40 minutes to the restaurant, pick up the same food and drive another 40 minutes back to my house…when i can just drive 5 minutes to the dasher and get it. and before somebody says “you could’ve just picked it up yourself” I drive for a living, work long hours, have a family, and still gotta work out when i come home. so if i’d rather pay for the convenience than spend another hour in the car going to pick up some food, i don’t see how that’s an issue. y’all can’t be serious. AND NO IT AIN’T MCDONALDS 😂💀
