@athena_guerra: An update from Atti mama I never expected to have to share. Yesterday, Atti went into cardiac arrest. It took 25 long minutes to bring him back. His heart function is now severely decreased, and we believe he may be going into rejection. Things are still incredibly critical and scary, and honestly, I don’t know what to expect. We are praying with everything we have that these medications work and that a miracle happens. ECMO is no longer an option because of the fungal infection, and now we also believe we may be fighting another bacterial infection. There is just so much going on all at once. I am heartbroken. I am scared. I am angry. I feel every emotion possible, but I have to stay strong for my boy. Please keep Atti in your prayers and pray for a miracle.
