You can’t get a decent 4 bed for under 700k in chch area :( The small 1970’s 3 bedroom we bought for 355k 13 years ago is now worth 650k+ it’s insane

They're not selling anything much plus 700k these days. The agent is desperate to move it. The owners are desperate to sell. they're hoping you'll max out your spend on mid 700s. Just offer low and see what happens if you like it. But, get you lawyer to write a 'time out clause' for 7 days so if they dont accept or reject in 7 days, you can pull the offer, .. stops them holding it for months and doing nothing.

Is the $890 realistic? Most houses are selling for below vendor expectations from what I’ve seen. Maybe she’s sent it as thinks an offer in the 7’s might go through? 🤷🏻♀️

house prices are well and truly over inflated, somethings corrupt with these prices, greedy sellers and real estate agents not being real on prices, thy just counting their commissions 💰

not the same, but i had a property manager reach out to me about a potential house to rent that wasnt listed yet. took me through the house then didnt hear back only for her to email late yesterday saying they were working with another applicant who could pay higher rent 😅
