As someone who bought a house 3 months after their wedding, we didn’t go on a honeymoon so we could afford our home 😭 And now I’m pregnant and racking up credit card debt for the first time ever. I don’t have a ton but it’s the worst feeling even having a few hundred dollars balance carrying month to month. And now I’m almost 9 months pregnant and crying going to work trying to make money up until I give birth 😭

I feel like student loan debt is even more crippling because the system is so flawed. We’re taught about the dangers of credit card debt, but private student loans aren’t nearly as discussed, even though we’re expected to make these huge financial decisions at 17 or 18 years old without fully understanding the long term consequences.
