My brother, please, I’ve been trying to understand this for a while. I know you read a lot and probably know more about it than I do, so I’d really appreciate your perspective. From the way you understand Ifá, is Èlédùmarè, the owner of the Odù, the same as the Supreme Creator, or are they considered two different things? In other words, is Èlédùmarè the Supreme Being, or is Èlédùmarè specifically understood as the owner source of the Odù?

How many of the books have you read to come to that conclusion? We can not for any sake appraise your reason alone as the evidence.

🧡Esteemed One✴️ :
well, Christianity and Islam have made the word god look more than what it's, god is simply the synonym of deity.
And the etymology of god means "that which is invoked"
...
In short, I've never agree the word god even fit to be used to identify the source of existence, neither do I agree the source of the universe is a creator.

Mr :
*'no single religion/spirituality/institution know who God is' ❌ (this is because the term God means different things to different people)
*'no single religion/spirituality/institution can with absolute accuracy know & define the totality and essence of multi-dimensional existence' ✅ (I think this is a better way to put it as the creation of the 'God' concept itself is an attempt to provide answers to these things...)
*I agree with the Yorùbá Thoughts on this issue...

This is nothing but the truth. I believe the Yorubas came to term with the unfathomable nature of “God” that they refuse to allot any gender nor shrine to him. Consequentially, this forms their philosophy of live and let live irregardless of one’s spirituality.

You need to experience God, you don’t need to have known him but I get your point to some level.

Apart from this, their concept of heaven and hell are crazily unfathomable, I love my indigenous concept more because I’m able to relate without getting confused, even if I’m confused I still have a source to fall back to to help me understand better. Ifa modupe.
