it learns, a lota propped speed. also excessive speed dosnt save as much time as you may think it does.. does immensely increase the risk of murder and fuel consumption though

Because speeding saves almost no time. Doing 90 instead of 75 from Michigan to my parents in VA only saves about 20 minutes and that's in a 9 hour trip. Your 10 minute drives are losing like 40 seconds by speeding

Waze is the better platform but I always beat long drives by at least 5-20 minutes depending on cops traffic weather etc

What everyone is saying is wrong. Google adapts to how you drive and uses historical data on roads and traffic at different times, while also applying it to current conditions.

That’s crazy . I used Google Maps to drive 37 miles and it said estimated time was 7 minutes 😳. I was like dam I gotta beat that now 😂

The gps tracks you and learns your behaviors. If you usually speed then it assumes you’ll do so and adjust your arrival time

it doesn't lol. it only factors in distance and traffic. the reason you get home at the arrival time is because speeding doesn't save time. unless you're driving 100s of miles in one trip on open roads, the only thing you're speeding toward is the next traffic jam, stop light, 90° turn, etc.

These phones learn you and your behaviors, my gps tells me when routs may include dirt roads cause I avoid them 😂

🤣🤣 Because literally everything in that phone is tracked try going a different route using your gps for a few days and it will auto choose that path it tracks your speed from start to finish and records it

travel time gets cut in half at specific points. 60mph is 1 mile a minute, 120, is 2 miles a minute, 180 is 3 miles a minute. going 70-100 shaves seconds
