Hi tree enthusiast here. I double checked because I remember reading once that the reason pinesol is no longer made with pine oil is because it was sooo popular we basically chopped down all the pine trees that it takes to manufacture this oil. The trees take 25 years before they are able to be harvested. So, when I saw this I got curious. Apparently this brand extracts by steam from stumps and twigs and leftover timber cuts. Making it pretty eco friendly. That's a win. The only thing deterring me personally is it can be toxic if your dogs and cats walks on the wet floors and licks their paws. But I mean, most cleaners aren't good for pets, so as long as you get the floor dry and can keep pets off it. This is a win. I've been waiting for real pine oil to come back, it's still expensive but I figured as much because it takes so long for the trees to grow. Thank you trees for all the good you do.

I had no idea this stuff had so many benefits not only is it a disinfectant and makes your house smell amazing, but it kills ants on contact and kills the pheromone trail. It completely confuses and derails fruit fly investigations because they can’t smell anything that they’re looking for. It’s safe on everything you can even use it as a laundry boost.

This is the best!! Smells a little sweeter than the OG pinesol. Been a pinesol user my whole life and I hate the new formula. Pinalen is close to the OG but this is the best.

I grew up with a mama who used Pinesol. I used it for years after I got married. Not really sure when I noticed it didn’t turn white… but it didn’t. Do I quit buying it. So glad to find there is a real pine oil product out there now. The manufacturer other one should be ashamed of themselves. They ruined an excellent product that was generational.
