@cravingasaving: Facing Stage 3 breast cancer is terrifying. There’s really no other way to put it. Some days I feel strong, some days I feel scared, and some days it all just feels incredibly unfair. But to be surrounded by a family who loves me this fiercely makes something so scary feel just that little bit less scary. 😭❤️ I still can’t quite believe our beautiful 5-year-old boy decided he wanted to shave his hair so he could be “just like Mumma”. 🥹 And then watching my husband shave his too… honestly, my heart could have exploded. In a chapter of our lives I would never have chosen, these are the moments I know I’ll remember forever. There’s something so heartbreaking and beautiful about your little boy looking at the thing you’re most scared of losing and deciding he wants to lose his too, just so you don’t have to do it alone. 😭🧑‍🦲 I’m writing this from a hospital bed after being rushed in this morning because of side effects from chemo. Yesterday looked different. Tomorrow probably will too. I’m learning very quickly that no two days in this journey are the same. But one thing has been the same every single day: I have never, ever felt more loved. Cancer might be putting my body through hell right now, but it’s also showing me, over and over again, just how much love exists around me. And that love is going to carry me through this. ❤️
