Chewing with your mouth open is not always about bad manners. It is about AIR. If you think about it, You take a bite. Your mouth is full. You close your lips. But your nose is stuffy, blocked, or just not working well at all. So now your body has two jobs: CHEW and BREATHE Guess which one wins? 😂 So the mouth opens to keep you from passing out why you eat. That is why I do not love jumping straight to: “Keep your lips closed.” You want to know what is making that hard to keep them closed in the first place. It could be the lips are weak, the tongue is not controlling food well, or, or, or... Chewing is a team sport. Your tongue moves the food, your cheeks keep it in place, the jaw breaks it down and your lips help keep everything sealed. Your nose is what lets you breathe while all of that is happening. This is why fixing open-mouth chewing is not just about reminding someone to “have better manners.” Comment AIRWAY and I’ll send you a link to a FREE MyoMap session so we can look at what may be going on and help point you toward the right next step.
you like paleontology then you’ve probably heard of the infamous Bone Wars, but have you heard of the modern Bone Wars? In the 90s, Chinese and American paleontologists were in a competitive race to find the missing link between dinosaurs and birds. Whoever found it was going to be very rich and very famous. A British dinosaur enthusiast bought a fossil from a China for 80K that had the legs of a dinosaur and the arms of a bird. National Geographic broke the news that the missing link was found until a scientist noticed something was off... Full dino-sized video drops on our YouTube @tilscience at end of this month. Are you subscribed?? Get on over there stat! #dinosaurs #paleontology #bones
