@joelbervell: #ad Sleep is now people's # 1 health priority, even ahead of diet and exercise. But Resmed’s 2026 Global Sleep Survey is revealing that most of us are still not getting the best sleep. Sometimes, even if you're doing everything right you're somehow still exhausted. That's not a willpower problem. Loud snoring, pauses in breathing during sleep, or waking up tired after what should have been a full night's rest may all be signs of a sleep disorder like obstructive sleep apnea, and they're worth a conversation with your healthcare provider. One statistic really stood out to me: 66% of people say they'd seek professional help for sleep issues, but only 23% actually have. I’d love to know if that matches your own experiences. Check it out and let me know: What's one thing you're going to change this week to improve your sleep? Check out the link in my bio to review the sleep survey! #SponsoredbyResmed #SleepHealth #SleepApnea #ResmedGlobalSleepSurvey
I’m suffering now. I really gave a hard time falling asleep and/or staying asleep. I am dealing with perimenopause too and I know that’s a symptom. I don’t know what to do😩

Me having a sleep average of 2 hours and 48 minutes per night is driving me crazy, not to mention the 4-5 nights in a row that I don’t sleep at all 😫

Super important to note - the root cause of OSA isn’t always lax tissue in the throat! For me, it was my skeletal structure, specifically my jaws. I had to get a BSSO, LeForte 1, and genioglossus advancement to resolve it. I had symptoms for years that were dismissed bc I didn’t fit the “typical” OSA patient profile of middle-aged, overweight man.

Getting a sleep test changed my whole life. I used to cry every day because I was so tired and didn’t know something was wrong. I was having 22 episodes an hour. I have central apnoea versus obstructive but my whole life is different. I’m down to 8-13

How do you compensate for all those nights when you can’t sleep because you are at work. Does sleeping in the daytime make up for the last of sleep.
