I went to a small concert 3 hours away from home at 36 weeks pregnant I sat the whole entire time as I was walking out at 1am my water started to leak but I was in denial so we went to the hotel I couldn’t sleep not in pain just uncomfortable finally at 10 am I was like we need to leave headed back 3 hours to the hospital to find out I was having contractions and at 5cm dilated 😬

Happened to me at 34 weeks. Went for an ultrasound in a different city and immediately got sent to the hospital! I didn’t even have my phone charger 🤣

My first baby I had an emergency c-section and was sent to a hospital 2.5 hours away with no bags and felt so unprepared but it all worked out. Good luck!

My mum was always telling me “your first time won’t be early you have plenty of time” I had the room set and a baby bag but not a me bag, and my waters broke just before 37 weeks haha I had one pair of pajamas and one normal shirt and shorts that I wore into the hospital, for what ended up being a 5 day stay 😭😭 I was washing my clothes in the hospital sink

See this is my fear. I live 2 hours from Pittsburgh and want to take my daughter there to see a play when I’m 37 weeks pregnant. But I haven’t gotten tickets yet because I’m scared I’ll somehow go into labor while I’m there. I’ve never even went into labor naturally before but that would be my luck!

I tried to go to my local hospital when I was in labour and they sent me away because the maternity ward was full. We had to go to a hospital 2 hours from us, and I ended up having an emergency c-section 😭

Everyone told me oh the first is always past the due date 😂 yeah, okay my water broke at 38 weeks and 4 days and I had her 24 hours later via C-section

35+5 (back in 2023) literally took this right before heading to my MFM appointment… got there and my BP was high.. They waited in and re-took it still high… so the doctor comes in and says I’m gonna tell you hi and bye you need to go and get induced today… the baby is now 3😂😩 his baby brother is similar…. Luck wasn’t on my side but they’re healthy and I’m done 😂

When we went in at 36 weeks I had nothing packed I was not prepared. Thought I had more time. We had just gotten a bassinet a day before. But our kiddo ended up being preemie so our clothes wouldn’t of fit

My worst fear😩this is why I leave a bag for me and baby in my car w a car seat, and her dad has the same in his incase we’re tg or not😭

If it makes you feel better you won’t need much after your c-section. You’ll be wearing the hospital gown they give you and loving your baby. I only used my phone charger and breastfeeding pillow.
